چکیده

Abstract The cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture is a prevalent injury in dogs. A consequence of instability the affected knee joint. veterinary, mostly surgical treatment usually unavoidable. suitability an arthroscopic method with replacement material was investigated. stability joint determined several times during 1,200 passive robotic motion cycles movement radius between 90° flexion and 140° extension. condition measured by triggering drawer test. After 300 cycles, test could be triggered (positive test). In following up to also triggered. However, no significant differences occurred these tests. showed damage loosening after first results that developed promising approach for ruptures canines.

Helical axes of passive knee joint motions.

The purpose of this study was to determine finite helical axes for passive knee joint motions in vitro and to evaluate the descriptive value of the finite helical axes for step-by-step flexion motions, with respect to consistency and reproducibility. An accurate Roentgenstereophotogrammetric system was used for motion measurements. Four knees were tested in a motion and loading rig with one and...

Investigating Knee Joint Position Sense in a Male Soccer Player After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Background: Anterior Cruciate Ligament) ACL (injury is the most prevalent knee ligament injury during exercise, with a frequency of 36.9 per 100000 individuals. The one characteristic of this injury is proprioception dysfunction. The current study investigated the knee proprioception in soccer players after ACL reconstruction. Methods: The study participants consisted of 20 elite male soccer p...

Posterior cruciate ligament injuries of the knee joint.

Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injuries have a reported incidence of between 3 and 37%, depending on the clinical setting. The most common mechanism of injury in motor vehicle accidents is a dashboard injury or direct force to the proximal anterior tibia. Sports related injuries result from hyperflexion of the knee with the foot typically plantarflexed. The latter mechanism is the most commo...

Effects of neuromuscular training on knee joint stability after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.

[Purpose] This study examined the effects of neuromuscular training on knee joint stability after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. [Subjects and Methods] The subjects were 16 adults who underwent arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction and neuromuscular training. The Lysholm scale was used to assess functional disorders on the affected knee joint. A KT-2000 arthrometer was used ...
